Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sheet metal and CNC-machined enclosures and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Perform engineering calculations related to strength, stiffness, load-bearing capacity, and material selection.
- Design welded structures using square, rectangular, and round profiles.
- Develop IP-rated enclosure solutions considering environmental protection requirements.
- Select and integrate seals, gaskets, adhesives, and fastening systems.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Apply GD&T principles in manufacturing drawings.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and cost optimization.
- Support prototype development, assembly, testing, and validation activities.
- Resolve manufacturing and fabrication-related issues during production.
- Participate in design reviews and implement improvement recommendations.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 70% academic score throughout education.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or shop-floor environments.
- Experience in prototype development and testing.
- Understanding of enclosure standards and industrial design practices.
- Knowledge of electrical panel integration is an added advantage.
Experience Requirement
- 2–4 years of experience in Mechanical Design.
- Proven experience in Enclosure Design, Sheet Metal Design, or Industrial Product Design.
- Experience in designing products for manufacturing and assembly.
