Job Title: Design Engineer – CATIA/NX (Plastics – 2 Wheeler)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop plastic components for 2-wheeler vehicles using CATIA or NX.
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings as per project requirements.
• Apply plastic design concepts such as ribs, bosses, snaps, and mounting features.
• Ensure design feasibility considering injection molding processes.
• Perform tolerance stack-up and apply GD&T principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CAE, manufacturing, tooling).
• Support prototype development and validation activities.
• Implement design changes and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in plastic design within the automotive domain (Mandatory).
• Hands-on experience in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.
• Strong knowledge of plastic design guidelines and injection molding.
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in 2-wheeler.
• Exposure to PLM tools.
