AT_112 - Jr. CAD Design Engineer (CATIA)

Experience: 2-4 Years

1. Strong experience on Plastics and sheet metal components design.
2. Should possess good Experience in Automotive Industry.
3. Proficient in CATIA with hands‑on experience in 3D and 2D
4. Expert in Part Drawing and Assembly Drawing preparation as per manufacturing standards.
5. Experience in concept design, Prototypes and analytical problem‑solving.
6. Experience in Product Innovation is an added advantage
7. Good Team player with good communication skills.
8. Exposure on Seatbelt Design and Development will be an added advantage.
9. Exposure to GD&T, Stack up analysis, DFM.
10. Experience in Production Plant is added advantage.
11. Hands-on experience in PLM.

2. Execute the production intended projects independently with less support from counterparts/ customers.
3. Proactive to Project Deliverables.
4. Providing the solutions for growing needs in automotive safety

1. Analyze the Design requirement /Requested work
2. Deliver the 3D/2D CAD data as per requirement
3. Adhere to Autoliv Standards / Set Processes
4. Review Design / Dwg using Autoliv Quality processes
5. Prepare the Checklist, reports & presentations
6. Deliver the 3D/2D data as per requirement
7. Manage the PLM activities

1. Design the Plastic /Sheetmetal Parts as per project requirement.
2. Innovate, Design, Develop & Support Seatbelt Projects.
3. Prepare the 3D Cad & 2D drawings as per manufacturing standards.
4. Prepare technical reports, design documentation & methodologies
5. Guide & support the team in technical activities
6. Effectively communicate with counterparts, CFT or customers
7. Execute the project to meet milestones, timelines & quality targets.
