Job Description

Company:

Mercer

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Data & Digital team at Mercer. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Product Leader will be responsible for the strategy, design, development, and delivery of AI and digital solutions across Mercer. This role will manage initiatives from ideation through scaling, ensuring successful adoption and measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with business leaders and product owners to define product roadmaps, align AI and digital capabilities with strategic priorities, and oversee cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, innovative solutions that transform systems, platforms, and client-facing products.

We will count on you to:

  • Partner with business and product leaders to shape the AI and digital product vision, define key use cases, and prioritize strategic initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Own the full product lifecycle, from concept through execution, ensuring all products are practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Develop and drive the AI and Data strategy, collaborating with technical teams to integrate AI, machine learning, automation, and digital technologies into existing products and operations.

  • Oversee the integration and management of both structured and unstructured data into AI models and digital solutions, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with business and product owner leaders, acting as a primary liaison between the Data & Digital team and business units to ensure clear communication, prioritization, and collaboration.

  • Lead the execution of AI and digital initiatives, coordinating across teams to manage resources, timelines, and dependencies, while monitoring KPIs and establishing feedback loops to continuously optimize solutions.

  • Ensure all AI and digital deployments are ethical, responsible, and compliant with security, privacy, and regulatory standards, managing risks related to data security, model explainability, and platform reliability.

What you need to have:

  • 8–12 years of experience in AI product ownership, digital product leadership, or enterprise technology innovation.

  • Proven track record of delivering AI and digital solutions at scale within complex environments.

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, digital platforms, data architecture, and product design.

  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.

  • Expertise in agile delivery methods and leading cross-functional teams.

What makes you stand out:

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate AI and digital capabilities into tangible business outcomes.

  • Experience delivering AI-driven and digital solutions at scale within complex organizations.

  • Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks, digital governance, and data privacy regulations.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.

  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.

  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
