Global data and analytics team within Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in Pune/Mumbai office:

Principal Engineer - Java full stack developer

• This role/position will be having very high impact as the individual will be managing tier1 applications.

• There are 10+ members in the team having expertise in various tech stack. They are all having good industry experience.

• Ability to work closely with senior developers and developers
• A software engineer who is strong in Java but flexible to learn other technologies like Angular and Node JS
• Able to suppress their ego and admit their mistakes
• A team player who is proud when other team members succeed
• Available and approachable,

• Experience with various tools such as ADO, Confluence, Git , Azure, CI/CD
• Knowledge on Scrum

What you need to have: 

• Min 4 Years of experience in developing/supporting full stack applications.
• BE/ BTECH/ MCA/ M TECH

• Excellent programming attitude
• Must have superior debugging skills and research skills.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence in problem solving.
• strong in Java Springboot, MVC, REST Api’s
• Must be good in JSP and Servlet
• Excellent understanding of REST services using Java Spring Boot
• Must have worked on Oracle DB, and ability to debug using DB queries

• Must be able to construct complex SQL queries
• flexible to learn other technologies like Angular and Node JS

What makes you stand out?

• Must have developed reusable libraries frontend and/or backend
• Ability to design a solution out of a given problem statement
