FLEX Full Stack Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

The Full Stack Engineer builds and supports the technology platform used to manage Marriott’s job architecture work. This role creates tools and system features that help teams organize job content, manage the job catalog, review incumbent mapping, track data quality, and support program reporting. The position partners with job architecture, HR, compensation, HR technology, and engineering stakeholders to build a solution aligned with enterprise standards that can be supported after implementation.[PI1] 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or high school diploma/GED and 4+ years of professional experience
• 6+ years’ experience building business-facing applications, reports, dashboards, or workflow tools.
• 6+ years’ experience working with data, system integrations, user requirements, or technology solutions in an HR or enterprise business environment.[PI2] 
• Python programming experience preferably with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• SQL experience including writing complex queries and working with relational data models.

Preferred

• Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle tools, or other enterprise HR technology platforms.
• Experience supporting job architecture, workforce data, HR transformation, or other complex business process initiatives.[MT3] 
• Experience creating clear documentation, testing materials, support guides, or handoff materials for ongoing system support.[PI4] 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

• Builds and supports technology tools used to manage job architecture work.
• Creates user-friendly screens, workflows, reports, and dashboards for job architecture, HR, compensation, and business users.
• Owns the integration of job catalog data with Oracle HCM Cloud and related HR systems.
• Develops tools that support job catalog management, work activity libraries, incumbent review, data validation, and program tracking.
• Partners with HR technology and integration teams to define data needs, system requirements, and implementation steps.
• Supports data design, reporting, and system logic needed to keep job architecture information accurate and usable.
• Converts business requirements into working application features, workflow logic, reports, dashboards, and system enhancements.
• Creates testing, documentation, and support materials so the tools can be maintained after implementation.
• Supports issue resolution, production readiness, and handoff to the team that will maintain the tools going forward.
