The Role

Do you study at a university? Join our Engineering team on an internship and gain real-life work experience surrounded by likeminded folks. As a Summer Intern, you will be part of a real project and take more responsibility as you grow.

What you’ll do:

• Become part of a cross-functional product team.
• Observe and participate in the design and development of solutions to interesting problems and in the development and testing of new product features.
• Get familiar with a large code base of a distributed cloud system operating at a global scale.
• Discover and fix bugs.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Break things and learn by fixing them :)
• Automate repetitive work.
• Get familiar with the concept of technical design documentation/RFCs.
• Have fun at work :)

What we expect from you

• You are interested in software engineering and you may have already built an app, web site or a small cloud service on your own.
• You are curious about SaaS and cloud-native solutions.
• You have experience in any programming language; JavaScript or TypeScript (or interest in learning them) are more than welcome. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• You are a fast learner and if you don’t know something, you actively seek relevant resources to get up to speed quickly.
• You have strong computer science fundamentals, as appropriate for your academic experience.
• You are proactive, results-oriented and like to get things done.
• You are fluent in English - verbal and written, as we are an international team and speak mostly English in our day to day.
• You are currently enrolled in an accredited university program with an active student status
