Senior Software Engineer

Role: Service Platform –Senior Software Engineer

As a Sr.  Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and
maintenance of collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro and Aha that drive
efficiency and innovation in our IT service delivery processes. You will collaborate with
cross-functional teams, translate business needs into requirements, and
contribute to the continuous improvement of our Service platform.

Key responsibilities

Tool Configuration & Customization:
o Lead the design, configuration, and ongoing optimization of JIRA,
Confluence, Aha, and Miro to meet the organization’s needs.
o Customize workflows, permissions, and templates within these tools to
ensure alignment with team processes.

 Integration & Automation:
o Develop and implement integrations between JIRA, Confluence, Aha, Miro,
and other third-party tools to create streamlined workflows and data
consistency.
o Automate manual processes through scripting, API development, and
other techniques to improve productivity and reduce errors.
System Administration & Maintenance:
o Manage the day-to-day administration and maintenance of these
platforms, including user management, performance monitoring, upgrades,
and troubleshooting.
o Ensure high availability and reliability of the tools through proactive
monitoring and issue resolution.

 User Training & Support:
o Provide technical support and guidance to users, helping them to
maximize the value of JIRA, Confluence, Aha, and Miro.
o Conduct workshops and training sessions to onboard new users and
introduce advanced features.
Collaboration & Best Practices:
o Work closely with product, project management, and development teams
to understand their workflows and recommend tool configurations that best
support their needs.
o Establish and enforce best practices for tool usage across the organization
to promote efficiency and consistency.

Required experience:

Overall 10+ years of proven experience as a tool’s developer; including minimum 3+
years of development experience in JIRA, Confluence, or Miro
Proficiency in a coding/scripting language, such as Python, for automation tasks.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
(SDLC).
Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) in JIRA and/or Confluence.
Experience with Agile project management tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g.) and their integration with
Atlassian tools.
Prior experience or technical knowledge of ServiceNow is preferable
