The Position 

As a Senior Software Engineer – Platform Tooling & Integration, you will design, build, and enhance platform tooling, integration capabilities, and quality engineering solutions. 

You will work hands-on across automation, integration, and data engineering, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and validated across end-to-end workflows. You will contribute to building reusable components and improving engineering productivity across teams. 

Key Responsibilities  

Platform Tooling & Integration 

• Develop and enhance platform tooling and integration frameworks across SAP and non-SAP systems 

• Build and support integrations using APIs, event-driven patterns, and middleware 

• Contribute to standardization and reuse of integration components 

Testing & Quality Engineering 

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks across services and integration layers 

• Execute and support performance testing to validate scalability and reliability 

• Contribute to regression testing practices for stable and frequent releases 

• Embed automated testing within CI/CD pipelines 

Data Migration & Validation 

• Support data migration activities, ensuring correctness and completeness of data 

• Implement data validation and reconciliation checks across systems 

• Ensure data consistency across integrated platforms 

Software Engineering & Delivery 

• Build scalable backend services, tools, and utilities to support platform engineering 

• Follow engineering best practices (CI/CD, DevOps, testing, observability) 

• Contribute to end-to-end delivery from development to production support 

Collaboration 

• Work closely with Product, SAP, Data, and Platform teams 

• Support integration and platform initiatives across teams 

• Contribute to technical discussions and solution design 

Our Ideal Candidate 

• Strong experience in software engineering with focus on integration or platform tooling  

• Hands-on experience in test automation, performance testing, and regression testing  

• Experience in data migration and data validation techniques  

• Good understanding of APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems  

• Strong problem-solving skills with ownership mindset 

Required Skills/Experience 

• MS or BS in a Computer Science or a science/engineering discipline. 

• 5–10 years of experience in software engineering, integration, or platform tooling  

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages  

• Experience with testing tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines  

• Exposure to data pipelines, migration, and validation approaches  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and DevOps practices  

• Understanding of integration technologies and distributed systems
