Project Manager Officer

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Management Officer (PMO) for a 12 months contract period (with potential opportunities for future roles) to support our ambitious transformation initiative. This is an exciting one-year contract role where you will play a pivotal part in the successful execution and delivery of key strategic projects for APM Terminals. As PMO, you will be the central figure coordinating and managing the roadmap, ensuring timelines are met, and facilitating seamless collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage the overall project plan, ensuring interdependencies are accounted for and timelines are clearly established.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with field experts and stakeholders across multiple functions to support prioritization, decision-making, and focus on the key elements of the APMT Terminal transformation.
• Governance & Risk Management: Establish and monitor governance frameworks, track risks and issues, and ensure regular reporting to the Steering Committee and other key stakeholders.
• Support & Facilitation: Assist SMEs in structuring and developing their contributions to the initiative, ensuring alignment and problem-solving through workshops and ongoing collaboration.
• Communication & Collaboration: Build communication plans, facilitate knowledge sharing across teams, and ensure a collaborative environment that drives successful project outcomes.
• Tracking & Reporting: Support the initiative lead in tracking progress, managing project logistics, and ensuring outputs and outcomes are aligned with expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in project management or PMO roles, preferably within transformation or large-scale initiatives.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and planning skills.
• Ability to navigate and influence within a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
• Expertise in risk management, governance frameworks, and project performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
