Core accountability for capacity, scheduling, terminal planning as well as coordination for the overall network with all relevant parties, subject to specific positions to take in the team.

  • The role will enable you to improve on critical skills such as execution/delivery management, process improvement, stakeholder management and communication, supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute vessel scheduling to meet proforma reliability and customer promise.
  • Monitor bookings and optimize vessel utilization in collaboration with Revenue Optimization Management, Customer Service and Operation parties
  • Plan vessel berth with most optimal and economical way by improving port operation efficiency and reduce operational cost.
  • Manage vessel ETA to port and communicate short to long term schedule with related stakeholders. Support ships to fulfil planned port activities during port stay
  • Drive operational decision making that balances service delivery and PnL.
  • Engages with Network and Market to improve network stability and efficiency.
  • Identify and suggest continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements for the position:

  • Problem-solving capability, able to optimize and take initiatives
  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency
  • Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Drive Results and focus on impact to customers. Initiate mitigation plan by collaborating others cross teams.
  • Communication skill is strongly required for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working experience in shipping industry or relevant position is preferred, but not a prerequisite.
