GRC Project Manager

Maersk Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) ensures an effective and efficient risk based internal control framework across Maersk. GRC is based in Finance and drives the overall control framework to ensure a sound control culture and control environment is in place. It is our mission to operationalize GRC framework and regulatory requirements through aligned, effective, and business-friendly controls and processes, solutions, and effective reporting.

GRC is looking for a project manager to be a part of the Project Management Office in GRC. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and completing projects on time within the given scope and prepare status reports for management.

The Project Manager should be well organized, able to work under pressure and a dedicated individual that can demonstrate proactive problem solving and strong collaboration and communication skills.

The Project Management Office consists of 3 main areas:

• PMO strategize, implement, and maintain program/project initiatives that adhere to the GRC objectives. PMO oversees multiple projects and ensuring program goals are reached.
• PMO ensures that all key reporting data objectives across GRC are captured timely and reported to management and stakeholders through high standard visualizations templates and tools.
• PMO ensures creation of communication strategy and plans, overseeing all GRC communication channels including training material and supporting material.

The GRC PMO function work cross-functionally to support the other functions in GRC.  

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal and/or external stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders by fostering clear and open communication.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings, create detailed reports, and provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed about project progress.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Utilize data visualization tools to transform complex project data into easily understandable visual representations, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• Facilitate a smooth transition of changes by implementing strategies to engage, support, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure a successful adaption to new processes, systems or structures.
