We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Lead to join our Managed by Maersk (MbM) Finance team. In this role, you will not only work with financial data and forecast but also lead financial projects critical to our team's performance.  This is a highly project-based role where you will have a great opportunity to engage with different stakeholders globally.

Reporting to a Head of Finance, Managed by Maersk (MbM), Logistics and Services (L&S) & Delivery who is based in Rotterdam, you will join other 4 finance colleagues who are based in different locations such as Denmark, Netherlands and Sweden etc. You will be also part of global finance team.

This is a global role, and we also offer flexibility and the job location can be anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Projects: Take charge of exciting financial projects, from start to finish, and see great projects come to life

• Analyze & Report: Dive into financial data to provide insights and reports that drive smart business decisions

• Team Up: Collaborate with multiple teams across Maersk, such as operations and finance to keep our financial goals on track

• Plan & Forecast: Lead our budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring we’re always ahead of the game

• Track Performance: Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to keep us moving forward

• Simplify: Break down strategic problems into simple, actionable solutions. 

• Innovate: Continuously improve our financial processes and systems to make them more efficient and accurate

We are looking for:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

• Solid work experience in finance, focusing on business partnering and project management

• Experience in logistics or supply chain would be a plus

• Analytical wizard with top-notch problem-solving skills.

• Proven project leader with a track record of managing complex initiatives.

• Excellent communicator who can build relationships with anyone.

• Financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting pro.

• Logistics and supply chain savvy.

• Tech-savvy with advanced skills in financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
