Description
As a Data Analyst at Maersk, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decisions that drive our business forward. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights, while also ensuring the accuracy and relevance of data across all stages of analysis. Your work will directly influence decision-making processes, help streamline operations, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Data Preparation & Analysis: Clean and prepare datasets, explore data with statistical tools to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Visualization & Reporting: Create visual data representations - visual representations (charts, dashboards) and prepare reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaboration & Support: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide decision support through insights and analysis
  • Data Collection & Trend Analysis: Gather data from various sources and detect trends or patterns to enhance business decisions
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and enhancement, applying statistical techniques to optimize processes
  • Dashboard Development: Build interactive data dashboards for decision-making across different products
  • Project Management & Continuous Improvement: Translate analytics requirements into technical solutions, while proposing and implementing ongoing improvements, including automation and data science
  • Goal Management: Support the tracking and management of goals within the business analysis process

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably with a finance background
  • Proficiency in Power BI and MS Office tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ethical mindset and strong cultural awareness
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, with exceptional command of language for effective business communication
