Lyten Sweden seeks a dedicated and professional Project Manager for our campus development projects. As a Project Manager you will play a key role in shaping the development of Lyten’s R&D Campus in Västerås by leading the delivery of construction, expansion, and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality execution in alignment with business objectives. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

Overall areas of responsibilities and activities 

  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of construction and infrastructure projects as the client representative, from concept through handover, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality execution aligned with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. 

  • Own project budgets and schedules, driving disciplined forecasting, cost control, and risk mitigation to ensure predictable and efficient project outcomes. 

  • Manage external consultants, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring effective execution and accountability for commercial, technical, and schedule commitments. 

  • Align and engage cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, operations, EHS, procurement, and finance to enable coordinated execution and effective decision-making in a dynamic and evolving organization. 

  • Secure permits and approvals while ensuring full compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements, embedding a strong culture of safety throughout project delivery. 

  • Establish and maintain robust project controls across cost, schedule, quality, and risk, ensuring transparency, structured reporting, and informed decision-making. 
     

Requirements 

Educational background and previous experience required for the role 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in construction management, project management, civil engineering or a related field. 

  • 4–7 years of project management experience within construction, infrastructure, or industrial real estate. 

  • Proven track record delivering brownfield and/or greenfield projects across planning, procurement, and execution using various project delivery models).  

  • Experience working on industrial facilities, laboratories, or high-tech manufacturing environments is highly valued. 

  • Experience in managing contractors, consultants, and procurement processes. 

  • Strong understanding of project delivery models, construction processes, and engineering coordination. 

  • Solid knowledge of Swedish construction contracts (e.g. AB 04, ABT 06). 

  • Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory frameworks in Sweden. 

  • Project Management certification (PMP, CPM or similar) is an additional merit. 

  • Experience with battery manufacturing of clean-tech environment is an additional merit. 

 

Specific skills 

  • Strong project planning, execution, and organizational skills. 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities  

  • Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus) 

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and reliability. 

  • Commercial awareness and structured problem-solving mindset.  

  • Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and deliver under pressure.
