Quality Engineer

In this role, you will support the implementation and execution of project quality requirements throughout construction, testing, and turnover. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning personnel to verify installations meet approved drawings, specifications, and Owner requirements.
We are currently hiring Quality Engineers across multiple disciplines, including Facade, Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM), Electrical, Low Voltage, and Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA). Candidates should have construction quality experience within one or more of these disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the project Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with contract documents, specifications, drawings, and Owner requirements.
- Review construction activities within assigned disciplines for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Perform and coordinate field inspections, material inspections, and installation quality checks throughout construction.
- Review submittals, RFIs, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and inspection checklists for quality requirements and constructability concerns.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and project teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Manage non-conformances, deficiencies, punch lists, and corrective actions, ensuring issues are properly documented and driven through closure.
- Verify installation and workmanship of systems within the assigned discipline, which may include facade, structural and architectural systems, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, controls, low-voltage systems, or OSM/prefabricated assemblies.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, material certifications, quality logs, and turnover records.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections at critical construction milestones to identify and resolve issues prior to commissioning and testing.
- Support commissioning, testing, turnover, and project closeout by ensuring quality deficiencies are resolved and required documentation is complete.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
- Construction quality experience within Facade, OSM, Electrical, Low Voltage, or CSA disciplines.
- Strong understanding of construction QA/QC processes, inspections, testing, non-conformance management, and corrective actions.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, ITPs, and technical documentation.
- Experience performing field inspections and verifying installation quality and workmanship.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, quality milestones, commissioning readiness, and project turnover.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, document, communicate, and drive quality issues through resolution.
- Strong communication, coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.
