We will help fill an important gap in the market, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services to enterprise and government customers worldwide. Business customers have contracts with agreed-upon performance standards for their broadband, and Logos will build these capabilities into the system from the beginning. Speed and reliability are the foundation of the system. Logos is designed to extend cloud and data center network connectivity anywhere in the world to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals.
Logos is led by a team of highly experienced engineers with proven track records in the networking and satellite industries.
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Join our dynamic team as an Antenna Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, simulation, testing, and integration of advanced antenna systems for our next-generation Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. You will tackle challenging problems in antenna and phased array technology, ensuring robust, high-performance connectivity for users worldwide, contributing directly to the success of a cutting-edge communication system. This role requires a deep understanding of electromagnetic principles and practical application to meet the demanding requirements of LEO satellite links.
You should be prepared to work and thrive in a fast moving environment where you are comfortable taking vague design ideas and turning them into tangible hardware ready for test and flight. We are seeking engineers who love to solve hard problems!
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and integration of advanced antenna systems including, but not limited to, phased array systems into products.
The full responsibilities include:
Define antenna concepts and system-level requirements during product definition phases.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define antenna requirements.
Ensure seamless integration between RF front-end components and antenna systems to achieve optimal performance.
Develop tools and methodologies to evaluate antenna performance within complex systems.
Drive engineering excellence and innovation by setting high standards for technical depth, quality, and on-time delivery.
Foster a strong culture of ownership and creativity, where engineers are empowered to challenge assumptions and push technical boundaries.
Build and test active phased array prototypes, including RF front-end circuitry.
Collaborate closely with IC design, software, systems, and product teams to shape and refine overall system architecture.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with some RF and antenna coursework or research, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience with antennas or communication systems
5+ years experience with radio test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers
5+ years of programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLA
Experience with one of the mainstream antenna simulation tools (CST, HFSS,…)
Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
MSc or PhD in EE with RF- or antenna-related thesis research
Strong foundations in antennas: Impedance matching, theoretical and practical limitations of antennas
Strong foundation in mathematics and physics
Experience in development of computational tools
3+ year of design experience RF building blocks such as filters, hybrids, combiners
Experience with active RF circuits and front-end design
Experience in phased array development
Hands-on experience with phased array calibration, characterization, and over-the-air validation.
Experience with both planar and volumetric phased arrays, analog/digital beamforming, and unique lattice architectures.
