Logitech’s Technology Office has the mission of defining and implementing the company’s technology strategy. It works across functions and business groups to develop technology platforms and capabilities.

The Technology Office hosts a team of world-class scientists and engineers with expertise in computer science, robotics, human-machine interaction, cognitive sciences, machine learning, audio processing, computer vision, computer graphics, and overall video processing. The group aims to bring state-of-the-art technologies to Logitech’s business groups and enable breakthrough innovations and immersive experiences.

The Technology Office wants to augment its video AI/ML team at the EPFL Innovation Park, Lausanne (Switzerland), home of Logitech’s headquarters. We are looking for exceptional individuals who are interested in applied research in embedded video processing and in bringing innovation to consumer and enterprise solutions.

Duration: 2 years Temporary Contract

• General purpose programming languages including C/C++ and Python and strong Git CI/CD software lifecycle management skills.
• Linux & real-time operating systems.
• Implementation of deep neural networks, e.g. CNNs, RNNs, GANs, VAEs, ViTs.
• Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow as well as ONNX models representation.
• SW development in embedded platforms such as ARM and RISC-V.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• First relevant work or academic experience in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, including embedded software development experience.
• Expertise in signal processing and computer vision. Expertise in audio processing and/or computer graphics is a plus.
• Knowledge of CPU/GPU/NPU system architecture based on ARM & RISC-V, multiprocessing, SIMD multimedia extension, DMA, virtual memory & cache levels.
• Pragmatic attitude, quick learner, and ability to rapidly dive into new scientific fields with an interest in bare metal performance and compute, memory space & bandwidth optimization.
• Innovative, curious, self-starter & autonomous.
• Desire to collaborate in a team of both researchers and software developers pushing the boundaries of new technologies & solutions.

Education

• MsC in  Computer Science, Microengineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related sciences
