This is a vacancy for a hybrid or on-site role at our HQ in Tutzing (South of Munich). We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity.As we continue to expand and enhance our Data Platform, we are looking for a Frontend Engineer (Angular) (m/f/x) to join our Engineering department. In this role, you will help evolve our design system and build a robust, modular user interface for our Data Platform using Angular, TypeScript, and object-oriented programming principles.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing new features, improving existing capabilities, and collaborating closely with senior engineers to deepen your technical expertise and contribute to high-quality, scalable frontend solutions.

- Developing, testing, and deploying core components of our Data Platform together with other engineers.
- Contributing to technical designs and actively participating in code reviews to ensure clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Collaborating closely with QA and Product teams to deliver reliable, high-quality releases.
- Continuously learning and staying up to date with relevant technologies, tools, and best practices to grow your skills and contribute to the team’s technical evolution.
- Around 3–6 years of experience in frontend engineering, with a focus on Angular (2+) and TypeScript, and a solid understanding of clean, maintainable code and object-oriented principles. Experience with Vaadin is a plus, but not required.
- Some familiarity with Java or backend concepts would be ideal.
- Experience working in larger or modular frontend applications, for example using shared libraries, design systems, or well-structured modules.
- Exposure to automated testing (e.g. Jasmine, Selenium, JUnit, or similar tools), with a willingness to deepen your testing skills over time.
- A general understanding of web integration concepts such as HTTP, REST, GraphQL, AS2, or similar technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, paired with a thoughtful and structured approach to development.
- Familiarity with software design patterns and best practices, and an interest in continuously improving code quality.
- Enjoyment of working in a collaborative, supportive team environment, where knowledge sharing and learning from each other are encouraged.
- A curious mindset, openness to feedback, and confidence to ask questions and seek help when needed.
- Clear communication skills in English and sufficient German for everyday collaboration.
