Job Description

Lithium3 are working with a business in South Derby and we require the services of a Network Engineer on a permanent basis.

However, this role sits within a traditional 3rd Line Infrastructure team; so we also require Server and Storage experience too.

We require a Network Engineer / 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer that would be the “to go person” when it comes to the Network, but we need for the successful candidate to help on the Server/ Storage side too as and when required.

Holding a Cisco certification is highly desirable.

This role is paying £35k - £45k and the role sits within a team of 8 within the Infrastructure team.

Role:-

-Work the Systems and Development teams 
-Management of the network and of the server systems
-Create documentation with well written guidelines along policies and procedures
-3rd line Infrastructure support
-Management and monitoring and support of the server and network systems

Below is a wish-list of requirements:-

- Cisco
-Citrix or Microsoft application and desktop delivery solutions
-Server & backups 
-Microsoft Exchange 
-Storage systems (DAS and NAS and SAN)
-ITIL

Desirable wish-list of requirements: 

-IT Security 
-Cloud based hosting (Azure or AWS)
-Juniper / Cisco Firewalls 
-WLAN management as well as configuration
-SQL Server
-Telephony
