We’re seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure behind our platform. You’ll take a hands-on role across infrastructure, automation, reliability, and developer experience, partnering closely with backend, security, and product teams to design and operate secure, scalable, and highly observable systems.

What you’ll do:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines to support fast, safe deployments
- Develop automation and internal tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve engineering efficiency
- Act as a technical authority and mentor for the other DevOps team members and backend engineers
- Support developers with day-to-day operational needs and continuously improve developer experience (DevEx)
- Architect new services and re-architect existing systems with scalability, performance, and security in mind
- Build and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting (Datadog)
- Implement scaling, performance, and failover mechanisms for critical services
- Collaborate closely with DevSecOps to enable and integrate security tooling across environments
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response (with a focus on prevention, not heroics)
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- Senior-level experience in DevOps / Platform / SRE roles
- Strong experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production
- Deep hands-on experience with Terraform
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines
- Strong coding skills in Go and/or Python
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and reliability
- Experience owning production systems end-to-end
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Temporal
- Experience supporting on-prem or hybrid agents
- Experience with cost optimization and autoscaling
- Security-aware mindset and experience collaborating with security teams
