What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Work with Microsoft Azure (priority) to design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions.(Experience with GCP is acceptable as an alternative.)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team and participate in code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions.
What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience in Python backend development (senior level).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (priority) — designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with GCP is acceptable as an alternative.
- Proven experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
- Practical experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- GraphQL.
- Kubernetes.
What will set you apart
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, etc.).
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Azure Service Bus).

Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.

Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.

Familiarity with testing practices (unit, integration, e2e) and code quality tools.

Version control proficiency (Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Understanding of security best practices in cloud/backend environments.

Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate effectively in English.
