Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Product Analyst to support the analytics function for our upcoming mobile F2P sports game, E-Cricket. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Game Designers, and senior analytics stakeholders to help collect, analyze, and interpret player data that drives product decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in game analytics while gaining hands-on experience with player behavior analysis, KPI tracking, experimentation, and live game performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and maintaining game telemetry and event tracking systems.
- Monitor and report on key product KPIs such as retention, engagement, progression, monetization, and player activity.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using analytics and visualization tools.
- Support A/B testing and live experiment analysis by gathering data and preparing insights.
- Analyze player behavior trends and identify opportunities to improve player experience and game performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Live Operations teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Help ensure data quality and consistency across analytics implementations.
- Prepare recurring reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Product Analytics, Game Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Understanding of key gaming metrics such as retention, engagement, conversion, progression, and monetization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for gaming and data-driven product development.
Bonus Points
- Experience working on mobile games or digital products.
- Familiarity with free-to-play (F2P) game mechanics and player lifecycle metrics.
- Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation, or statistical analysis.
- Interest in sports games, multiplayer systems, or live operations.
