Inside the Teleport and Ground Infrastructures Engineering department in Rome, we are looking for and RF System Engineer, supporting RF Systems and Antenna design, procurement, installation, integration and test in the designated Ground Station facility.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• System Design, to develop detailed requirements and define the system architecture, including specifications for the procurement of the required subsystems and services
• Technical management of the Procurement process, including factory and on-site test as applicable
• Integration of the subsystems in the overall system architecture, development and execution of system, end-to-end and onsite tests
• Development of all relevant documentation (design documents, test plans and procedures, reports)
• Project Management, including budgeted cost and schedule control

Requirements:

An experience of at least 3-5 years in Antenna/Ground Stations equipment and subsystem design is required.

Second Level Master’s degree in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering

Technical skills:

• System Engineering methodologies
• Antennas and RF Propagation
• RF and Microwave Systems
• Modems and Baseband processing
• Time and Frequency Systems

Knowledge of Satellite Missions, Satellite Control Techniques, Monitoring and Control Protocols, Antenna Measurements and ECSS Standards is appreciated.

• Place of work: Rome Headquarters. This position requires the availability to make frequent trips in Saudi Arabia for a specific project.
