We are looking for an experienced, passionate engineer to join our backend team. This is a hybrid position working with the team 3 days per week from our headquarters in Boston, MA.
What You'll Do:
- Build backend infrastructure from the ground up
- Design and collaborate with the engineering team to build architecture and system design for new products
- Closely work with frontend engineers to integrate backend API seamlessly
- Build internal products and integrate with external APIs
- Play a role in building, testing, and releasing products developed from scratch
What You Should Have:
- A Master's in CS or a strong CS foundation
- 6+ years of continuous experience as a professional software engineer
- Expert-level skills with Python
- A solid understanding of relational databases and transactions (PostgreSQL)
- Fluency on the Linux command-line, including utilities (grep, find, etc.) and use of git
- Strong written communication skills
