Android Engineer

We are looking for a talented Android Engineer to join our team who can deliver exceptional customer-facing features with stunning UI design, while also contributing to the development and maintenance of core infrastructure tasks. 

You’ll play a key role in the development and implementation of our mobile applications, working alongside cross-functional teams to build user-friendly and scalable solutions that meet our customers' needs. 

In this role you’ll

• Work on different domains to tackle unique challenges while working closely with product designers, QA engineers, data analysts, and other developers
• Utilize the latest technologies to develop new and exciting products
• Help the Android team improve the app scalability, maintainability, and flexibility by working on infra tasks that affect our entire Android codebase
• Provide tested and testable code
• Be the owner of your domain to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of our products
• Work closely with top-of-the-line developers and product designers to create beautiful, joyful UI experiences while leading core functionality endeavors.

What you’ll need 

• 3+ years of Android development experience; 2+ years of experience with Kotlin
• Deep understanding of Jetpack components such as Compose, ViewModel, Room, WorkManager, etc.
• Working experience with Coroutines and Flows
• Experience with testing frameworks and best practices
• Broad understanding of Android-related topics, e.g. material design, gradle, animation
• Good understanding of design and architecture patterns, principles, and best practices of MAD
