Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Kotlin Programming Language. Your typical day will involve working with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing high-quality software solutions. Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices. Primary focus will be the development of such applications and their integration with back-end services. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and deliver new features for Android applications. 2. Develop and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform in Swift. 3. Design and wireframes need to be translated into high-quality, responsive UI code. 4. Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability, and work on bug fixing and performance improvement. 5. Implement professional coding and UX/UI standards, ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness. 6. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies and be ready to apply them to operations and activities. Professional & Technical Skills: 1 Have published one or more Android apps in the Play store. 2 A deep familiarity with Kotlin and Java 3 Experience with third-party libraries and APIs 4 Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. 5 Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle 6 Collaborate with the development teams and help them to build mobile apps. 7 Participates in all mobile development lifecycle phases by applying comprehensive understanding of company methodology, policies, standards, and internal and external controls 8 Flexible with shift timings to collaborate with onshore teams when needed. Additional Information: 1 The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Kotlin Programming Language. 2 The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. 3 This position is based at our Chennai office.
