Your New Role and Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting our Federal Government Program to deliver a new data centre capability.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate and direct subsystem, system and integration testing activities across programs and partner organisations.
• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases and procedures that meet contractual requirements while balancing technical, schedule and cost constraints.
• Review, analyse and derive requirements for testability, ensuring effective traceability, coverage, and verification across systems and subsystems.
• Lead defect triage, prioritisation, retesting and resolution across engineering teams, and manage test readiness activities across multiple environments.
• Analyse test outcomes and prepare comprehensive system-level evaluation and V&V reports, clearly communicating status, risks and results to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

You will be curious, a consummate professional for off-the-shelf products and subsystems created to support the end product and ensure the systems work seamlessly with each other.

You will also have:

• Substantial experience leading integration and test activities across software, components, subsystems and complete systems.
• Demonstrated experience in test requirements elicitation, decomposition, traceability, and documentation using structured test management processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering practices, with the ability to integrate COTS products and subsystems into a coherent end-to-end solution.
• Proven ability to lead by example, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively at all organisational and stakeholder levels.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, Computer Science (or equivalent experience), with NV‑2 AGSVA security clearance.
