THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

• Responsible for maintaining enforcing processes across the CHGB portfolio
• Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines.
• Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with customers external to the organization.
• FAI process implementation and verification.
• Review and approve assembly instructions.
• Approve Procurement requisitions.
• Verify data requirements for the PM team.
• Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
• Write Non-conformances and complete RCCA activities. To includes review of those completed by other Quality Engineers.
• Interfaces with Government and PM customer to ensure product compliance on delivery.
• Complete CDRL data requirements.
• Other Duties as assigned by the Quality Program Manager.

 

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

• BS degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
• Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100/AS6500 manufacturing environment.
• Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
• Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites to execute program requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area at their own expense.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Government contract and SOW interpretation.
• CDRL Deliveries experience
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
• Previous auditing experience.
• FAI completion experience
• Metrics Tracking experience

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
