Solution Architect Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Solution Architect Intern. You will work among a team of industry experts within our Digital Modernization sector support the Defense Information Systems Agency in modernizing and consolidation the Defense Agencies and Field Activities Network. As a Solution Architect Intern, you will work closely with our team of Architects to learn and gain hands-on experience with various technologies, including cloud, data center and network architecture. You will also work closely with our development and capture organizations to support new business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with developing solutions to complex government requirements working across technical capabilities
• Learn to write proposals and present to customers and internal business groups
• Work with the Solution Architect team to design and implement system and network architectures
• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices
• Perform Anais of technical tools and present findings to the team and government stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• Currently in your penultimate or final year of a degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics / Technology / Related science/technical field.
• Interest and aptitude to learn about and deliver cloud-based solutions to customers.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Knowledge of Networking fundamentals including Security, Storage or Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows)
• Experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• US citizenship required.
