Engineering Intern

Leidos is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) Dashboarding team.

The Engineering intern will assist in developing automations to improve the efficiency of deploying and maintaining resources in our cloud environment and service centers in support of the customer mission.

In this role, you will need to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, understand prioritization, have attention to detail, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and handle multiple simultaneous tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with User Endpoint Management Team to contribute to design, development, and implementation of automations to onboard users and devices.
• Participate in requirements gathering and solutioning sessions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
• Participate in the develop of user stories, sprint planning, and test case development / execution within an agile project environment.
• Contribute to brainstorming on areas for improvement, including innovations aimed at improving user experience and efficiencies
• Contribute to mission to scale cloud solutions, and migrate data center capabilities to the cloud, enabling the support of Fourth Estate Networks and Users supporting approximately 400k users.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in technical field
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with and interest in Power Shell
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication both verbal and written 
• US Citizenship required
