Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Applications Engineer to join the Data Center Power and Control Division Starline Team. This is a remote position reporting to Reading, UK. The Sr. Applications Engineer provides high-level engineering expertise, project management, and commercial support for the application of Starline high-amperage busduct products across customer projects. This role leads technical strategy, mentors junior engineers, and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. The engineer is responsible for drafting product offers, resolving technical issues, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Sr. Applications Engineer provides advanced engineering expertise, project management, and commercial support for the application of Starline high-amperage busduct systems. This role serves as a technical leader, designing system layouts, developing technical documentation, and ensuring solutions align with customer requirements and business objectives. Responsibilities include preparing technical proposals, validating specifications, supporting RFQs, troubleshooting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing product guidance to customers and sales teams. The position utilizes AutoCAD for design activities, participates in customer presentations and project meetings, and supports projects throughout the sales cycle. Additionally, the Senior Applications Engineer drives continuous improvement initiatives, maintains expert product knowledge, mentors junior engineers, and fosters collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful customer outcomes.
