About this role: 

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Global Sales Engineering (reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer) to lead our sales engineering team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of sales processes, enhancing team performance, and aligning sales engineering activities with our business goals. 

Our preference is for a candidate who can come into our downtown Boston office occasionally, but we will consider remote candidates. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead and mentor a global team of sales engineers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. 
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction. 
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution selling techniques. 
  • Manage technical resources effectively to support sales cycles and ensure alignment with customer requirements and product capabilities. 
  • Serve as a technical expert and advisor to key stakeholders, providing insights and guidance on complex sales negotiations and implementations. 
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in sales engineering processes and tools. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive products to strategically position Legit Security in the market.
  • Strong technical background with in-depth knowledge of application sercurity principles, practices, and technologies. 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams. 
  • Experience working closely with highly technical customers at the Enterprise level 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive sales engineering initiatives that align with business objectives. 
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and customer satisfaction. 
  • Have worked in early-stage, fast-growth startups!
