About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale EkLines AI-powered documentation platform. You'll work directly with the founders to deliver new features across our web application, VS Code extension, and GitHub app. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in early-stage startup environments, takes ownership from day one, and delivers measurable impact for users.
Success in the First 3-6 Months
Deliver multiple high-impact features that improve customer workflows.
Ship reliable, maintainable code in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with full test coverage.
Improve platform performance and scalability by at least 20%.
Lead technical decisions for new integrations and API enhancements.
Mentor junior engineers, raising team code quality and velocity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance our web application and platform integrations.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs for cross-system integration.
Collaborate with founders on product design, architecture, and roadmap.
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across all systems.
Implement secure, scalable infrastructure using Google Cloud services.
Conduct code reviews and support junior engineers growth.
Requirements
5+ years as a Full Stack Engineer.
Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Strong API development and deployment experience.
Skilled with SQL and NoSQL databases (BigQuery, Firestore preferred).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience in early-stage startups or SaaS platforms.
Strong ownership mindset, excellent communication skills, and commitment to continuous learning.
Experience using AI tools to boost engineering productivity.
English: C1 or C2 level for daily communication with U.S.-based team.
Able to work at least 6 hours overlap with PST (9 AM - 3 PM).
Preferred Qualifications
Next.js and Tailwind CSS experience.
Python development experience.
Familiarity with Google Cloud backend tools.
Understanding of NLP, machine learning, and AI workflow integrations.
Compensation & Logistics
Annual Salary: $60,000-$72,000 USD
Early-stage equity and performance-based bonuses.
Fully remote from anywhere in Latin America.
Flexible hours with required PST overlap.
