Senior Test Automation Engineer

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for its Bangalore, India location. This highly technical position will be responsible for identifying, planning and developing test automation scripts in an Agile/Scrum environment while ensuring high quality software and ensure compliance according to regulatory statutes, policies and procedures. Create test automation scripts for UI applications, including Java, Web Services/APIs and custom-designed automated solutions. Perform manual testing as needed to understand application processes and workflows to convert into automated test scripts. Create and maintain automated test scripts in defined repository, integrate scripts into the continuous delivery pipeline and provide output reporting for test execution runs. Manage and organize test data and perform data analysis. Develop and maintain test data repositories to assure data integrity, including IBM DB2, Oracle, RDS, S3 and other database platforms. Communicate QA risks, milestones, and status to the QA lead or Project Manager. Review and verify functional and system requirements to ensure project deliverables pass QA criteria. Provide work estimates for testing activities. Assist in the setup and 
     maintenance of QA test environment and tools. Collect and report on quality 
     statistics and metrics. Record and monitor discovered defects and QA 
      related 
      issues. Participate in quality related discussions. Promote continuous 
      improvement and improve test cycle duration.

       Responsibilities: 
•    Design and develop of the test automation frameworks for UI, Restful and 
        SOAP APIs 
•    Experience using Behavior Driven Design frameworks like Cucumber using 
        Gherkin language to write detailed automation test cases
•    Setup virtualized services for automation scripts to interface with databases or other data sources
•    Analyze complex processes and systems to identify automation test 
       scenarios and test data
•    Coordinate with project managers to schedule and track assigned tasks or tasks of others; able to determine scope and work effort and project resourcing needs
•    Performs code and design reviews with peers and mentor other testers on best practices 
•    Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team 
    building

Required Qualifications: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or foreign equivalent
•    10+ years of experience as Senior Automation Engineer in design and 
       implementation of test automation frameworks 
•    8+ years of Java programming experience developing test cases using 
       automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, TestNG and Junit 
•    Experience with healthcare domain and expertise using HL7 or FHIR 
       standard formats is a plus
•    Working knowledge with AWS services such as EC2, SQS, S3 and Relational 
       Database Service to create a scalable environment for testing
•    Strong hands-on experience with RDBMS SQL (Oracle or DB2) and NoSQL 
        like AWS DynamoDB and Elasticsearch for test scenario validations and 
       test data management
•    Experience with accessibility/cross browser/analytics testing of web 
       application
•    Working experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tool Jenkins/Bamboo 
       and build tool Maven and containerized tool such as Docker
•    Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ, Visual Studio, JIRA and 
       GIT
