Job Summary:
The Governance, Security & Risk Analyst supports the secure, standardized, and measurable operation of the platform and ONEHub. The role helps govern platform demands and changes, coordinate cross-functional IT involvement, maintain decision-quality reporting, support audit readiness, and ensure technical teams follow defined ITSM processes and expectations. This position is well suited for a candidate interested in IT governance, cybersecurity, risk, analytics, IT service management, and enterprise platforms.
Job Description:
- Serve as a governance and architectural control point for demands, enhancements, integrations, and platform changes.
- Review requests to ensure they align with approved architecture, security controls, standards, business priorities, and a consistent ONEHub experience.
- Govern changes to ONEHub, helping maintain secure access, standardized design and navigation, consistent functionality, and a cohesive user experience.
- Coordinate engagement across , security, infrastructure, identity and access management, integration teams, application owners, and business stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and track integration, access, data, security, and operational dependencies before changes are released.
- Support role-based access control reviews and least-privilege access practices for users, groups, and integrations.
- Help identify security, privacy, compliance, and operational risks; document findings and escalate concerns through established governance channels.
- Own and maintain the KPI framework, reporting governance practices, and data-integrity standards.
- Develop and validate trusted metrics that support leadership decision-making, including SLA performance, mean time to resolution (MTTR), backlog health, outage impact, demand volume, and process adherence.
- Review reports and dashboards for accuracy, consistency, appropriate definitions, and alignment with approved data sources.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership on performance trends, process gaps, risks, improvement opportunities, and platform adoption.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining evidence, documentation, approval records, control reports, access-review artifacts, and compliance tracking.
- Help ensure technical teams follow defined processes, standards, and expectations across ITSM areas such as Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Configuration Management.
- Partner with technical leads to identify process exceptions, recurring control failures, and opportunities to improve quality, compliance, and delivery speed.
- Maintain governance documentation, including review checklists, process standards, risk logs, architecture decisions, and reporting definitions.
Qualifications:
- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and risk concepts, including access control, least privilege, authentication, authorization, data protection, and compliance.
- Basic understanding of software delivery, testing, integrations, IT service management, and change management.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing data, documenting controls, and tracking approvals or risks.
- Exposure to , ITSM, governance-risk-compliance practices, security operations, identity and access management, or enterprise reporting.
- Familiarity with KPIs such as SLA attainment, MTTR, backlog aging, outage impact, incident trends, and service performance.
- Coursework, internship, certification, or project experience in data analysis, cybersecurity, business analysis, IT governance, or process improvement.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, ITIL, SDLC, and audit or compliance concepts.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA), ITIL Foundation, Security+, or willingness to pursue relevant certification within the first year.
