The Role

Join us as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and embark on an exciting journey of ensuring reliability, resiliency, and innovation in our information systems and ecosystems. As an SRE at Kyndryl, you'll be at the forefront of driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service to our customers. 

Your role goes beyond traditional engineering, as you'll have the opportunity to analyze business needs, tackle complex problems, and provide strategic advice and designs. You'll be involved in every stage of the software lifecycle, from building and testing to deploying changes and maintaining robust systems.

Work with other Site Reliability Engineers to implement and maintain scalable, reliable, performant, and efficient systems. Help the team to continuously improve our operating processes. Promote site reliability best-practices to ensure platform resiliency, performance, and cost-optimization. Implement site reliability solutions based on the goals and requirements set forth by leadership, SLI and SLO.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering.

• 2 years of experience programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.

• At least 2 years of experience providing on-call support, supporting applications and delivering infrastructure as code.

• Experience in Application Testing, DevOps, SecOps, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK),AWS Management, Security, Scalability, Reliability, Cost Optimization.

• Experience in delivering cloud native solutions.

• Experience in SRE best practices, Application Performance Monitoring, Microservice Architectures.

• Basic understanding of SRE concepts, such as Service Level Indicators and Service Level Objectives and Trunk based development.

• Certified in any one of the following-AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate OR AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate OR AWS Certified Developer - Associate.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, developing and inspiring people and teams .
