We are searching for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our fast growing Customer Success organization. In this role, you will leverage your customer management skills and technical domain expertise to retain and grow Skytap’s client base. Our TAMs leverage industry best practices around Operating Systems that can be virtualized and function within the cloud. It is the TAM’s job to ensure our customers are successful in both their understanding of and operating within the Skytap environment. TAMs take this one step further by working directly with key customer accounts and going above and beyond to ensure our customers are confident in the value that Skytap Cloud provides them.

 

To be successful in this role, you must possess the necessary technical and customer facing skills that allow you to not only represent Kyndryl well within the customer’s domain but also drive discussions with senior leadership regarding best practices for operating within a cloud environment. You are also the primary advocate for the customer and serve to represent the voice of the customer in product level discussions to help meet our customers’ current and future needs. 

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with the broader Customer Success team to maintain customer health as measured by the customer scorecard

  • Interact with our customers to understand their technical business needs, drive increased usage and remove technical barriers for adoption

  • Develop a technical roadmap for the customer that delivers on the business value expectations of the customer based on their investment

  • Work hands on with their Engineering and Service Delivery teams to identify and debug application issues

  • Create and deliver periodic reviews of operational performance to customer and internal leadership

  • Make recommendations on how best to operate and take advantage of our Cloud offering

  • Make our customers successful!

Who You Are

Ideal Candidate:

  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and continue to drive for results

  • Exposure to Windows Desktop /Server and/or Linux Operating systems.  Power Systems (AIX/IBM i), and Mainframe a plus

  • 4+ years’ experience supporting enterprise level clients

  • Experience using VMware or other virtualization technologies

  • Domain knowledge and industry experience around Solutions as a Service, Software as a Service, SDLC processes, etc.

  • Driven and motivated by customer success

  • Strong executive presence and proven experience presenting to executives at all levels

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $93,360 to $168,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: 

New York City: $112,080 to $168,000 

Washington: $102,720 to $162,000

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program. Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. It has also helped me focus much on the job skill and the location filtering out the onsite jobs and remote ones. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet. But if it could show remote only, that would be helpful not only to me but to other people applying for full remote and not tied to only US candidates
