The Role

The ideal candidate will design, build, test, and deploy custom applications, reports, and enhancements using the JDE EnterpriseOne toolset, utilizing JDE Orchestrator Studio, Business Services (BSSV), and REST/SOAP APIs to seamlessly integrate JD Edwards 9.2 with third-party applications. You will modify existing JDE objects and create new developments utilizing standard tools like Object Management Workbench (OMW), Report Design Aid (RDA), Form Design Aid (FDA), and Table Design Aid (TDA). Responsibilities include developing and maintaining complex Business Functions (BSFN) using C programming and Named Event Rules (NER), as well as utilizing User Defined Objects (UDOs) such as E1 Pages, Grid Formats, CafeOne, Watchlists, and Notifications to enhance the end-user experience. Finally, you will diagnose system failures, perform root cause analysis, debug code, implement timely fixes for production support tickets, and work alongside business analysts to prepare technical specification documents from functional requirements for this JD Edwards (JDE) Developer role.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10+ years of JDE development experience.

• JD Edwards EnterpriseOne / World development experience.

• Programming: C / C++ (BSFN), Event Rules (ER), Report Design Aid (RDA), and Table Design.

• Experience with: Orchestrator / AIS, Interfaces & integrations, and SQL / Oracle database.

• OMW (Object Management Workbench).

• Package builds and deployments.

• JDE Tools upgrades (nice to have).

• Version control and release management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in production support environments (often 24x7/on-call models discussed internally).

• Good communication with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Master’s degree and relevant certification(s).
