Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling techniques.

• Hands‑on experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes.

• Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing.

• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing data processes.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience working within the financial services or banking sector.

• Experience with cloud‑based data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.

• Exposure to distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and lineage practices.

• Basic English proficiency for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams.
