The Role

This role involves articulating Kyndryl's point of view and value proposition for its offerings (products & services) and the audiences it serves, aiming to increase market share.

As a Solution Marketer, you will act as the market catalyst, providing guidance on key problems, competitors, and differentiators based on data. This includes identifying opportunities, distinctive competencies, and positioning. You will communicate effectively with analysts and customers regarding Kyndryl's services.

At Kyndryl, you will collaborate closely with the leaders for Kyndryl Bridge, including the CTO Office and Advance Delivery, as well as Offering Management, in developing offerings on Kyndryl Bridge. You will manage the go-to-market (GTM) and messaging strategy for Kyndryl Bridge, coordinating with other marketing disciplines, including Content, Campaign, Brand professionals, and alliance marketers. As the Solutions Marketer, you will liaise with various parts of the organization, including Offering Management, Sales, Communications & Enablement. Your marketing experience and comprehensive understanding of technology are essential for this role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Articulating Kyndryl’s perspective by aligning the unmet needs of the target segment with a distinct value proposition and explaining how we deliver desired outcomes.

  • Researching and segmenting the market opportunities based on patterns of needs and trends and understanding our competitive positioning with the assistance of Marketing Research & Analytics.

  • Communicating the value of digital business platforms, particularly Kyndryl Bridge, to customers at various stages of their business and IT transformation journey, in collaboration with Content & Enablement.

  • Understanding buyer personas (buyer, influencer, user) within a buying cohort, including their journey, operating markets, and competition.

  • Enabling and activating the Marketing team to effectively convey our point of view.

  • Creating prioritized stories and use cases, effectively communicating them to the business, and identifying optimal routes-to-market in collaboration with Sales & partners.

  • Working with analysts and advisors to gather market intelligence, informing strategy, building credibility, and developing better insights about personas.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, CTO office, and offering teams, to drive alignment and influence outcomes.

  • Evangelizing key differentiators, demonstrating relevance, and building advocacy.

  • Creating content such as customer presentations and website materials, while collaborating on thought leadership and marketing plans.

  • Developing strong partnerships with senior business leaders and global and regional marketing teams.

  • Fostering a culture of transparency, openness, growth mindset, and innovation to nurture a high-performance team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 15+ years of experience in the Technology Industry with a strong grasp of the technology environment of our customers

  • Master’s degree or MBA (Marketing and/or Information Technology)

  • Experience and/or passion for Marketing, specifically the strategic thinking required for Product Marketing

  • Experience in Solution Marketing, Product Marketing (Value Propositions, Positioning, Messaging).

  • Product Positioning: Develop and articulate clear value propositions and positioning.

  • Strong communication and enablement skills

  • Deep Business acumen & domain knowledge

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience in services marketing & technologies such as platforms or ITSM

  • Strategic thinking & good research skills along with the ability to synthesize.

  • Extremely results-oriented and creative collaborator.

  • Curiosity & problem solving

  • Good attention to detail

  • Able to communicate effectively to influence/ prompt action of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities.
