Software Engineer - Java

This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days onsite in Richmond, VA.

What You’ll Do: 

• As a Backend Engineer you will help build an Enterprise API Platform using GraphQL Federation architecture to enhance core capabilities.

• Share your knowledge of distributed microservices and full stack systems, passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, while participating in internal & external technology communities.

• Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Digital Product Managers, Technical and Team Leads to deliver robust cloud-based solutions driving powerful experiences that help millions of customers achieve financial empowerment.

Required Skills: 

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience using core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Rest API’s, JPA, and SQL (Internship experience does not apply)

• 1+ years of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)

Preferred Skills:

• Master's Degree

• Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js

• 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks

• 1+ years of recent experience in Agile practices
