Software Engineer

Kunai is collaborating with one of the world's largest banking platforms, a forward-thinking industry leader that’s building a cutting-edge technology company while navigating a highly regulated business environment. Over the past few years, they've established a robust engineering organization, transitioned to the cloud, re-architected their applications and data platforms, and adopted machine learning at scale. Today, their AI/ML capabilities are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in banking.

Now, they're launching a new enterprise B2B software venture, providing cloud and data management solutions for companies operating at scale. This initiative is their first step into the enterprise software market, following years of building in-house tools to support their own cloud and data operations.

As part of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of a major transformation within Kunai and this fintech powerhouse. You'll work on enhancing and extending the data security of user-defined content within their in-house content management system (CMS). This role is ideal for backend engineers with experience in large-scale enterprise platforms who are eager to help scale operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and extend data security for user-defined content published via the client's in-house CMS.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to the transformation of a major fintech platform through innovative backend solutions.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js and REST API development.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, JS, Java, Python is helpful.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Amazon Macie (or other security scanning tools).
• Prior experience working on large, enterprise-scale platforms.

Location: 

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates residing in the U.S. While we operate primarily on EST hours, you’ll have the flexibility to work from anywhere within the country.
