Project Manager II, Support Ops

 

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and managing projects that connect our Client Services teams with our Technology teams, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned with business needs. This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and will work under their direction while driving day-to-day execution. The position is based in India and would need commitment to work in 4pm – 1am IST and in hybrid mode of work.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Adhere to enterprise PMO processes and standards for a specific business portfolio 

  • Gather a variety of data points to accurately inform of business portfolio’s status and health

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of high priority projects

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Conduct project discovery sessions with various teams like business, legal, compliance, risk, and development

  • Develop detailed and comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress at various gates and to share across teams to include stakeholders

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Manage a strong relationship with the clients and all stakeholders

  • Perform proactive risk management and remediation plans to minimize project risks

  • Work with service line leads to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document, communicate, and track project needs

  • Develop and present project progress, dashboard & success metrics to senior management

  • Track and monitor resource availability and allocation in Agile implementations

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to clearly explain complex ideas to a variety of audiences both verbally and written

  • University degree and min. 10-12 years of experience with over 5 years as a Project Manager in a global organization

  • Certifications such as CSM, PMI or PRINCE2 are preferred 

  • Proven experience in Project Management

  • Experience with process improvement & inventory control

  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies

  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner

  • Experience overseeing Agile projects

  • Strong experience in effective planning

  • Excellent written and client facing communication skills

  • Budget development, cash flow preparation and tracking are a plus

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

 

Good to have skills/tools:

  • Project management tools like MS Project, Monday.com, and Planner

  • Development Operations tools like Azure Dev Ops (ADO)

  • Strong MS office skills like Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Word 

  • Six Sigma Certification
