About the Role

We’re looking for a client-facing Salesforce Developer based in Melbourne or Sydney who are passionate about clean, scalable code and empathetic design. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values quality, innovation, and user experience—building solutions that will be used and appreciated for years to come.

Candidates must hold Australian Citizenship or be eligible to obtain a government security clearance, in alignment with the requirements of this position.

 Role Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Developer at KPMG, you will:

• Collaborate with clients to understand business challenges and recommend innovative, tech-enabled solutions.
• Configure and develop Salesforce components using best practices and out-of-the-box functionality.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with development standards.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration of third-party applications.
• Create prototypes and wireframes to support design discussions.
• Produce technical documentation including specifications, security design, and data dictionaries.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on the “art of the possible” within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Experience

We’re looking for developers with:

• Hands-on experience delivering Salesforce solutions for enterprise clients.
• A strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.
• Experience working with distributed teams in agile environments.
• A passion for solving complex problems through technology.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• A growth mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Salesforce certifications such as Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer 
• A relevant university degree or industry-recognised qualification.
• An interest in progressing toward Salesforce CTA (Certified Technical Architect) certification.
