We are seeking a seasoned Software Product Manager with extensive background in designing and delivering high-throughput and mission-critical features in Smart Nudges Platform (SNP). The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, problem solving, critical thinking, customer-first approach, deep business understanding, focus on operational efficiency and stakeholder management. Candidate should have 5+ years professional experience in software product management. Your role will be crucial in building innovative solutions that drives customer engagement across all banking channels in Kotak.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive product strategy that encompasses market needs, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements. Define the vision and roadmap.
• Market Analysis: Perform in-depth market research and analysis to understand the competitive landscape, banking & fintech industry trends, and customer needs. Identify gaps and opportunities for innovation.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, evaluation, and iteration. Ensure the product aligns with the business goals and delivers value to end-users.
• Feature Development: Work closely with stakeholders to define and prioritize features. Create detailed requirements and user stories that align with the overall product strategy.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, and business units, to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams.
• Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future development decisions. Regularly report on product performance and strategic adjustments.
• Customer Experience: Evangelise customer experience on outbound and inbound communication channels to drive customer engagement and cross-sell.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure all products meet the stringent regulatory, compliance, and security requirements specific to the banking industry.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, end-users, and IT teams. Gather and incorporate feedback to continuously improve the product.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software product management, with a focus on building mission-critical customer facing, high throughput applications in a complex distributed microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated success in developing and launching impactful software products.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Technical background with an understanding of software development practices and web technologies.
• Prior experience with digital transformation initiatives in banking or financial services.
