Product Manager-Government Business-TASC-Government Business-Product Manager

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

1. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Agency Business solutions, including State Tax Collections, Direct and Indirect Tax Payments, RBI Bonds, Pension Products, and other Government Banking offerings. 
2. Drive product strategy and execution through ideation, business case development, requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, launch, and commercialization.
3. Serve as the central coordination point across Business, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Regulatory Authorities, Government Departments, RBI, and external partners to ensure successful product delivery. 
4. Identify market opportunities, customer requirements, regulatory developments, and industry trends to design innovative, scalable, and customer-centric product solutions. 
5. Collaborate with Government Bodies, Regulatory Authorities, RBI, and partner institutions to facilitate implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities. 
6. Own product performance metrics, including adoption, penetration, transaction volumes, revenue generation, fee income, CASA contribution, profitability, and portfolio growth. 
7. Partner with Business Units to expand tax collection business, enhance customer acquisition, and increase transaction volumes across existing and new government relationships. 
8. Work closely with Marketing, Analytics, CVM, Sales, Operations, and Service teams to drive customer engagement, product awareness, usage, and business growth. 
9. Develop and execute product roadmaps, digitization initiatives, and enhancement plans to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and scalability. 
10. Monitor product performance through MIS, dashboards, and analytics, generating actionable insights to optimize business outcomes. 
11. Lead customer engagements, product demonstrations, workshops, and strategic presentations, while providing subject matter expertise during onboarding and implementation. 
12. Support customers and internal stakeholders on product-related queries, implementation challenges, and service requirements. 
13. Lead UAT, process validation, rollout planning, user training, and post-implementation stabilization for new products and enhancements. 
14. Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, Government guidelines, internal policies, and governance standards applicable to Agency Banking products. 
15. Drive risk and control activities, including RCSA, risk assessments, control monitoring, audit readiness, and closure of observations arising from regulatory, statutory, and internal audits. 
16. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents, identify process gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions to strengthen controls and customer experience. 
17. Manage stakeholder communication effectively, influence decision-making, and ensure alignment across business, technology, operations, and regulatory teams. 
18. Demonstrate complete ownership of assigned products from concept to revenue realization, with accountability for business growth, customer experience, operational excellence, compliance, and P&L performance.
