Application Developer-I-SUPPORT SERVICES-CTO - In House Engineering

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Business Teams, IT, and external vendors to support ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Participate in the BSG testing and maintenance function—understand application functionality during development, create detailed test cases, and ensure thorough execution.
• Coordinate all phases of project development, including system design, development, testing, training, rollout, and post‑implementation support.
• Monitor timely execution of assigned projects to ensure high‑quality deliverables and support users/systems post‑go‑live.
• Track system and business application performance as per defined SLAs, TAT, and service expectations; escalate issues to IT/Business for timely closure.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication through regular review meetings and maintain project status trackers.
• Identify required changes or enhancements in existing systems, analyze impact, prepare BRDs and change specifications, obtain business sign‑offs, conduct UAT, and drive implementation.
• Identify post‑go‑live gaps, collect user feedback, propose improvements, and conduct user training sessions with senior team guidance.
• Develop and extract reports using SQL queries across database systems.
• Proactively identify project risks and support mitigation planning.

Job Requirements

• Strong project planning, execution, and management skills with a process‑driven approach and proficiency in project documentation.
• Ensuring effective Azure DevOps management and governance across all team-delivered projects
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle. Prior experience in Testing, System Maintenance, and Business Requirement Gathering is preferred.
• Good knowledge of DBMS concepts, data mart structures, and query languages (Oracle/SQL/DB2).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for seamless interaction with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
• Understanding of the financial sector is required; banking domain experience is an added advantage.
• Graduate qualification is mandatory.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
