Position: Team Lead Project Controlling, KONE Nordics

Reports to: Johan Nordstrand, Manager Operation Planning and Support, KONE Nordics

Location: Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen

Are you an inspiring and committed leader who wants to combine a leadership role with operational work? KONE is now looking for a new Team Lead to be responsible for the Project Administrator team for KONE Nordics.

The Team lead will be responsible for the Project Administrator team whose main responsibilities are to perform project management tasks. These include monitoring and maintenance of the project financial forecast as well as correct posting of actuals, managing project documentation, invoice triggering and payment monitoring. The work is mainly handled in SAP. The team consists of 10 people who are based both in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. They will all report directly to the role we are looking for.

The new Team Lead will report to Johan Nordstrand, Manager Operation Planning and Support, KONE Nordics. The role will involve some travelling, mainly to our regional branches within Scandinavia.

The position

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school diploma but preferably also a relevant bachelor's degree. To be successful in the role as our new Team Lead we see that you have 3-5 years of experience from a leadership role. In addition to the role as team lead, you will also work operationally with project administrative tasks.

We believe that you are a strong relationship builder, have a coaching leadership approach and enjoy meeting other people. You have strong ability to think strategically, make decisions and convey information in a clear way, while learning from experiences and feedback from those around you.

As Team lead you will oversee and create a team that contributes to the delivery organization’s success in an effective and consistent way and according to established guidelines and budgets. You will lead the people management in the team, competence development and makes sure there is a career path for all team members. You are responsible for the KPI targets for the PA team. You will facilitate information sharing and create a collaborative working environment. In addition, you will develop the team and processes to help them to serve the internal stakeholders with high quality, on time and within budget. You will implement and ensure implementation of new tools, processes, and systems.

To be successful in this role you would need to fill the following requirements

  • Solid leadership experience of 3-5 years

  • Background in change management and a proven track of change management skills

  • Exposure to project controlling with frontline experience 

  • Experience in project management

  • Excellent team player/leader with ability to motivate, coach and drive for results

  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and build strong networks 

  • Previous experience of working effectively in a matrix organization is a benefit

  • A collaborative mindset, with a high sense of responsibility, accountability and a hands-on approach to tasks 

  • Solid IT skills, preferably experience of SAP, Excel and Powerpoint

  • Excellent skills in Office 365

  • Full professional proficiency in English and one other Nordic language
