Senior Solution Engineer

Purpose
Solution Engineer provides technical support, as the interface between customer service and engineering.  He/she ensures the consistency of the technical output of the suggested solutions and suggests technical solutions to meet project objectives and targets within full chain. He/she approves technical solutions for nominated projects. He/she develops and provides highly demanding engineering solutions and act as a key developer in the Engineering unit also in cross-functional network of key specialists.

Responsibilities and key activities
    Responsible for the best possible and most cost effective elevator design for nominated projects.
    Creates solutions based upon corresponding deliver countries regulation (related codes).
    Identify special KONE components based upon project requirement and participate in the discussion with suppliers when necessary.
    Participate tender phase technical review meeting. 
    Perform customized solution design according to customer’s specification.
    Manager new solution development based upon project specification & requirement.
    Supports solution creation and works closely between KTI and product develop team.
    Supports product implementation and components localization if needed.
    Participates in global engineering activities or development program.
    Participates to customer or consultant design liaison meeting with frontline when requested.
    Support technical query from frontline and provide the corresponding solution .
    Clarifies and understands layout related customer needs in detail together with CSM/SS, TE, SM, FL, Communicates project engineering details to layout engineering team .
    Coordinate mechanical and electrical components design when needed.
    RA for special case when needed.
    Support feedback from frontline and provide the corresponding solution when needed
    Root cause analysis and CA action handling.
    Engineering process & tools development based upon efficiency & productivity Improvement.
    Participate in common development actions.
